South African Airline, Kulula Launches a Brand New App

TechInAfrica – One of South African airline, Kulula has just launched a new app for Android and iOS users. The brand new app goes with the name kulalal.com and can be downloaded for free on Play Store and App Store.

The new version of kulula.com app comes with a refreshing look and dominated with green. It offers simplicity and convenience to its customers through smart technology.

Kulula.com was developed in collaboration with Nacelle and Infinea Software Labs. Recently, it’s been announced as a technology venture by Comair.

Amanda Mocellin, CEO of Nacelle, said: “This venture, combines some of the brightest digital and technology specialists in the country. The aviation industry is forcing players to find enhanced ways of growing and maintaining their customer base and with this in mind, we developed our flagship public product to deliver kulula passengers with a more seamless travel experience.”

Commenting on the launching of the brand new app, Shaun Pozyn, Head of Marketing at Kulula.com said that the main goal to launch the app is to redefine the digital mobile airline space in the nation using their own way or what they simply call ‘kulula-way’. It promotes its core brand values, simplicity, fun, as well as witty. The company wishes that the app will add value to customers’ travel experience and strengthen the relationship with their loyal customers.

Kulula.com in both version, Android and iPhone are still in its first phase enables customers to on-the-go check-in, seat selection, flight status, and access to manage booking, add flight extras, and so on.

Later for the second phase, customers are expecting it to have more features, including flight bookings, geo-location, and push notifications in order to get customers to stay informed about travel information, car rental bookings, and options to share on social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, et cetera.
