The Zambian entrepreneur is 28 years old, and he is the son of Situmbeko Musokotwane, the former minister of finance. Mwiya is the CEO of Thebe Investment Management company. He founded the company through the help of his family members. Additionally, the family developed Nkwashi, a mega project that is on a 3,100 acre in Lusaka Zambia.

For the first time in its 2018 list, Forbes Africa had more than 90 individuals in Africa. The individuals came from three industries which are creative, technology and business.
Mwiya admits that he realized his passion for entrepreneurship at the age of 16 years after reading the biography of Wareen Buffet, a US-based billionaire. It gave him an urge to get a degree. He ventured into business for the first time when he was studying for his Masters. However, the business never succeeded. He developed a dream to put up a megacity at the age of 23 years. His experience from the first business made him trade keenly. The support of the family allowed him to launch Thebe Investment Management. Through the business, he managed to generate cash flow worth $1 million.
