TeamApt, the Nigerian fintech company, that offers digital financial services and payment infrastructure solutions just announced the launch of the first Women in Tech Internship program. The new program targets university graduates interested in developing a career in the technology field. Graduates will carry on with the programme for six months after which they shall gain from a six-month internship to help address some of the gender disparities that dominate Nigeria’s fintech ecosystem.

TeamApt aims to provide women with the perfect opportunity to harness their skills with quality experience to help advance their careers. Successful applicants will base their performance on available openings while receiving full-time employment with other Lagos-based companies.

TeamApt was formed in 2015 and has cooperated with several banks and 100% of commercial Nigerian banks. The company intends to deepen financial inclusion across the country by delivering suitable financial services and products to banks while delivering products for businesses and consumers.
