TechInAfrica – A three and a half year Managed Roaming agreement has been signed by Telkom South Africa and Telenor, according to the companies. This agreement will allow Telkom to increase its roaming retail offerings to the end-users.
By signing this agreement, Telenor is accountable for the full end-to-end for Telkom’s selling roaming process. On the other side, this agreement makes Telkom available to use the wholesale roaming group platform of Telenor and supply on the group scale in terms of cost and income.
Althon Beukes, CEO of Telkom’s Wholesale division, Openserve says that Telkom has a long-standing and crucial relationship with Telenor. Telenor’s extensive roaming coverage integrated with the vast experience and skill is significant in providing Telkom’s end-users with the desired roaming experience.
