TikTok Teams Up with Eventbrite to Offer Direct Ticket Sales

TikTok has partnered with Eventbrite, enabling content creators to promote and sell event tickets directly through the app. Creators can now incorporate Eventbrite links into their videos, simplifying the process for viewers to find and purchase tickets for events.

This innovative feature, now accessible to creators in sub-Saharan Africa, aims to support local and independent event organizers by providing them with a platform to expand their reach and attract more attendees.

To utilize this feature, event organizers can connect their events to their TikTok videos by creating a new post, inserting an Eventbrite link, and choosing the events they wish to promote. Users will be presented with the most relevant events based on their location.

Eventbrite links will now enable users to purchase tickets directly within TikTok through an in-app browser. Additionally, event-related videos will be displayed based on their relevance to the viewer’s location.

Isaac Bess from TikTok stated that this collaboration will bridge event creators with the TikTok community, showcasing exciting events such as festivals, concerts, and local gatherings.
