The recent meeting that was held in Lagos dubbed “Uber for Her” brought together Uber female driver partners and Uber management. According to Blessing Manuel Smallvoice, while facilitating a session on Winning the Customer Service Game, women are in a position of being successful in anything they put their mind in. Women are encouraged to always walk with their heads high by not allowing the gender issue to derail them. Uber for Her was held in partnership with She Leads Africa (SLA), an organization that is run by women from Africa who are dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and their journey towards professional success through online content and offline programs. The event saw more than 100 women attending to show the seriousness of women in developing from now to 2020.
