UNICEF Uganda and the Outbox Hub will oversee the Uganda Innovation Fund Challenge that seeks to support innovators with new and emergent technologies that address pertinent issues faced by the age demographic composed of adolescents and children.
This initiative will address issues on child survival and development improving access to boy and girl adolescent development, basic education, and child protection. According to Shadrack Omol, UNICEF’s representative shared that the SDG vision requires no one to be left behind and when they go investing in innovation while building broader and bolder partnerships.
Outbox Hub CEO Richard Zulu, described the work with UNICEF Uganda as a chance for the community to work hand in hand with experts. The initiative provides an opportunity for collaborative stakeholder engagement while co-creating solutions that address systemic challenges faced by both adolescents and children.
