Therefore, the technology will help in counterfeiting and traceability.
The need has led to the collaboration between Zimbabwean authorities and VST Enterprises. VST Enterprises is a consumer technology and security company which is based in Manchester UK. The company now needs to help Zimbabwe with authentication technology. The technology will help in reducing currency counterfeiting, increase traceability and heighten traceability.
The Zimbabwean new government has made vital steps towards developing a new era of international relations. Many areas have also been improved. However, the country should have good technological infrastructures. This will help in the reduction of criminal activities like counterfeiting and smuggling. Finally, Zimbabwe will achieve its technical goals. Different technological improvements have brought a new dawn to Zimbabwe.
The partnership will go much higher by helping to improve security and government in overseeing the economy. VSTE’s technology will also have a great impact on the country’s society. It will also change the locals living standards. Zimbabwe can use the technology to address important issues in its economy. Meanwhile, the government can also lay strategies to give its people a brighter future. Places like, South Africa, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Armenia, Reno and New York have VST’s offices.
VST Enterprises produced a method to portray micron-level VCodes onto minerals. This was done in partnership with the UK’s National Graphene Institute. The institute is located at the University of Manchester. Zimbabwean authority can use the method to report the minerals mined in the country. Therefore it will help them to optimize traceability. This will help the government in solving the issue of illegal mining in Zimbabwe. Besides, the customers can tell the quality of the mineral they are buying. They are in a position to control item ownership through the VPlatform’s ledger system. VST was on the verge of preventing the smuggling of alcohol, tobacco, and other imports. VST Enterprises is working with the Zimbabwean government to produce new banknotes. That will do away with counterfeiting. They will develop VCode to check the authenticity of the notes.
