Vodacom and Digital Parks Africa prepare for new data center

TechInAfrica – Vodacom Business is expanding its data center with the help of Digital Parks Africa, a wholesale data center infrastructure service provider.

Vodacom’s Managing Executive for Cloud, Hosting & Security, Kabelo Makwane said the company’s extensive data center footprint and capabilities can provide the necessary foundation for businesses of all sizes, “to change and face digital disruption head-on”.

Now all businesses from SMEs to mega-corporates can simultaneously benefit from the technology due to the partnership, Makwane said.

He also revealed that the AWS Outposts both Hybrid and Public Cloud can be deployed, as well as Azure Stack hybrid cloud and Huawei private cloud infrastructure.

“These data centers afford enterprises a cloud adoption journey which is flexible and is on their terms while protecting their existing IT investment as they modernize and transform their IT operations.”
