Venous will also reduce physical interaction between medical personnel and patients. It features a mobile app where patients can create and change hospital appointments. Patients will also receive notification for their specified hospital appointment dates.

The Zamtel Executive Office went further by saying, “Venous is designed for private and public health facilities. Others included are laboratories and external pharmacies.

However, Zambia’s Minister of Health was full of praise for the company. The minister commended the company for its swift response to the government’s call for a smart solution towards the country’s healthcare system.

Dr. Barakat also started that venous would improve the quality of life and wellbeing of Zambians. He added that the sector had witnessed massive improvement in the last couple of years due to numerous players that have entered the market.
