QR technology helps merchants collect better data on customers and sales while personalizing rewards. Zeal’s payment experience is powered by Apple and allows users to connect their payments to the Zeal app QR code, then present them to in-store scanners.

The company was founded in 2019 by Omar Ebeid, Bellal Mohamed, and Amr Mohamed. Zeal Rewards provides QR code payment solutions to retailers and other offline businesses such as beauty salons and other food and beverage salons. The startup went through the SETsquared incubator based in the United Kingdom. Piloting of the app began in January and has witnessed exponential growth as merchants increase on its platform weekly.

Zeal is available on Google Play and App Store where they intend to substitute old loyalty cards relied upon when making transactions. That means one needs not to buy a loyalty card at the supermarket, instead, the phone offers an all-in-one loyalty platform.

The win-win scenario offers by the Zeal App encourages businesses working with the app to recommend their customers to download it. Zeal has partnered with brands such as The Batter Half, Al Sagheer Salons, Nino’s Bakery, Tres Bon, and Diwan Bookstores.
